After Droga5, I freelanced as Lead Writer for two years at Google Creative Lab. I worked directly with a Product Team, collaborating with product and UX designers and developers. It was a step removed from marketing and gave me the brand side bug.

“Hello Morse” brings a 200-year-old alphabet to smartphone keyboards everywhere. To most of us, this may sound like a neat novelty, but this project represents life-changing access to a powerful means of self-expression for hundreds of thousands of non-verbal people like developer Tania Finlayson.
As Creative Lead, I was in charge of the story. I wrote launch collateral, named the project, and creative directed the film which became the standout moment during Google's biggest event of the year: the Google I/O keynote address. You can watch Tania's story here.
